Juniper berries, with their characteristic acidic and decisive taste, are particularly suitable for cooking game and in general very tasty meats such as wild boar, deer and duck, or for offal such as liver.
Juniper is also the basis for the preparation of gin and many other liqueurs, including grappa.
USE TIPS
In addition to game seasoning, juniper can also be used to prepare a jam to accompany it: cook the berries in water, mash them and add the sugar to the pulp, then blend and leave to cool.
