Fava beans
Broad beans have always been widely used for human nutrition, especially in Italy, in the southern regions.
Soaking
Rinse the broad beans under running water and soak them in cold water for about 8 hours with a pinch of bicarbonate
Baking
After the soaking time, remove the water and rinse them quickly, then place them in a saucepan with cold water and bring to the heat.
Cook for about 100 minutes (half time for those who use a pressure cooker), then drain and cook them to your liking.
