Ground garlic, or garlic powder, has a pungent aroma, suitable for enhancing the taste of savory dishes and for flavoring with a strong taste.
Powdered garlic maintains the properties of fresh garlic, but has the advantage of being able to be stored longer and immediately ready for use in the kitchen. However, it should be emphasized that the dosages are not the same as for the fresh one: they must therefore be evaluated on the basis of one’s taste.
USE TIPS
You can use garlic powder for many preparations, including sauces, dishes that require cooking in the oven such as leg of lamb, chicken or potatoes and to prepare sautéed vegetables and sauces.
In sautéed dishes it should not be cooked for too long, to prevent it from blackening.
